despite the strikingly good looks, scent still
catching, tugging in between
my breasts, caught like a fish reeling on a numb hook
overexposed, scent,
still like something drawn out of a sighing window
cold lingering and shoving
in, inwards and pulling out shores,
covering a naked breath in warmth, big water
reflected as if slight rain in your open eyes.

dumbly, i tug at your sleeve.

pockets of air curving my body to the rise of a spine
creating, blindly, wind fitted into a dress. feed
this repetitive alphabet with reflection and please

swollen love. figure me in
your unbuttoned shirt, your open kitchen door,
your house collapsing and welcoming me in. a creak,
as something wakes, startled. it is always sun-soaked and shapely,

falling outside as if, snow.
